Shipping Policy

Order Processing Times

We strive to process orders within 1–2 business days.

During peak seasons (including Semi-Annual Sales, holidays, and major promotional events), processing may take 3–5 business days.

Processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be canceled. If your order has not yet shipped, we may, at our sole discretion, offer store credit instead of cancellation.


Order Cut-Off Time

Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST generally begin processing the same business day.

Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST begin processing the next business day.

Processing times begin once your order enters our fulfillment queue and do not include carrier transit times.


Estimated Delivery Windows

Estimated delivery dates are displayed at checkout based on your selected shipping method.

Delivery estimates are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed.

Please review all order details carefully before placing your order, as modifications may not be possible once an order has been confirmed.

Discount Codes

Application & Use

Discount codes must be applied during checkout and cannot be applied retroactively.

Only one discount code may be used per order unless otherwise stated. Discounts cannot be combined; the highest eligible discount will automatically apply.

Restrictions

Discount codes:

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash or store credit.

  • May exclude gift cards, preorders, selected collections, or other promotional items.

  • May include minimum purchase requirements or geographic restrictions.

  • Are non-transferable and intended solely for the original recipient.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any promotion or discount code at any time without prior notice.


Shipping Confirmation & Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.


Shipping Holidays

We do not ship on weekends or observed holidays.

Our 2026 observed holidays include:

  • January 1 – New Year's Day

  • January 19 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day

  • February 16 – Presidents' Day

  • April 3–4 – Holy Week

  • May 25 – Memorial Day

  • June 19 – Juneteenth

  • July 3 – Independence Day Observance

  • September 7 – Labor Day

  • October 12 – Columbus Day

  • November 11 – Veterans Day

  • November 26 – Thanksgiving Day

  • December 24–25 – Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

  • December 31 – New Year's Eve


Expedited Shipping

If you require expedited delivery, please contact us before placing your order at info@shopelrincondemaria.com or (786) 247-8770.

Selecting Next Day Air or Two-Day Shipping only upgrades the carrier's transit time. Standard order processing times still apply unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed with our team.


Shipping Costs

United States & Puerto Rico

Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated during checkout.

Orders of $175 or more qualify for free USPS Ground Advantage shipping.

Ground Advantage includes tracking but does not include shipping insurance.

Customers who would like insurance are encouraged to select USPS Priority Mail or UPS during checkout.


International Orders

International shipping rates are calculated during checkout.

Customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, tariffs, customs fees, brokerage charges, and any other import costs assessed by the destination country unless otherwise stated at checkout.

If customs charges are refused and a shipment is abandoned, destroyed, or returned to us, we reserve the right to deduct shipping costs, carrier fees, customs charges, and return expenses from any refund or store credit where permitted by applicable law.


Local Delivery (Miami Area)

We offer local delivery via Uber Package under the following conditions:

  • Orders using this option are typically dispatched the next business day.

  • A valid phone number is required at checkout.

  • Customers must be available to receive the package or provide lobby/front desk instructions when applicable.

  • Responsibility for the package transfers to the Uber courier once the order has been collected.

If delivery cannot be completed because the customer is unavailable or incorrect delivery information was provided, additional delivery charges will apply before re-delivery.

Delivery Fees

  • Up to 3 miles — $15

  • Up to 5 miles — $20

  • Up to 7 miles — $25

Pickup availability varies each week and is subject to approval.

Typical pickup hours are:

9:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST

Important Notes

  • This location is for pickup only. In-store shopping is not available.

  • Orders approved for pickup are subject to our standard return policy. The return period begins on the first business day after you are notified that your order is ready for pickup.


Shipping Claims & Liability

We offer USPS Ground Advantage as our most economical shipping option. This service includes tracking but does not include insurance.

Customers seeking shipping insurance should select USPS Priority Mail or UPS during checkout.

Once a shipment has been accepted by the shipping carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to the carrier.

Customers should contact the shipping carrier directly regarding delivery delays, lost packages, or insurance claims.


Lost or Stolen Packages

Although lost or stolen packages are uncommon, they can occur.

We strongly recommend selecting an insured shipping method if you would like protection against loss or damage during transit.

El Rincón de María is not responsible for packages after they have been accepted by the shipping carrier.


Damaged Packages

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.

If your package or its contents arrive damaged, notify us within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of:

  • The shipping box

  • The shipping label

  • The damaged item(s)

We will review your claim and work toward an appropriate resolution.


Returned Packages Due to Incorrect or Insufficient Address

Orders returned because of an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable shipping address provided by the customer may be reshipped once the additional shipping charges have been paid.

Standard return windows continue to apply to these orders.


Carrier Delays & Events Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Customs inspections

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Labor disputes

  • Public emergencies

  • Carrier delays

  • Other unforeseen events


European Union Customers

Customers whose purchases are subject to mandatory European Union consumer protection laws should refer to our Refund Policy for information regarding their statutory right of withdrawal, return procedures, refund timelines, reimbursement of standard delivery charges where applicable, and applicable legal exceptions.
